Sun & Fun Scooter Club
This is a fun, low-key and active group of enthusiasts in eastern Connecticut. They are in beautiful riding country and an easy trip from Rhode Island. Check out their web site for lots of good rides throughout the season. Great for novices and dedicated enthusiasts alike. Good bulletin board, too, if you have questions or need help or advice.
CC Riders
CC Riders is a local, totally casual scooter club. Based in North Providence, CC Riders organizes scooter rides almost every week during the scooter season. Newcomers are welcome! For ride info or to be put on a ride mailing list, contact Mike Caracciolo at michael781@cox.net.
Italian Motorcycle Owners Club
Started in 1984, the Italian Motorcycle Owners Club (IMOC) is America’s only national organization dedicated to celebrating all Italian-made motorcycles and the owners who appreciate them. They are based nearby in eastern Connecticut, and sponsor the annual IMOC Rally. The IMOC Rally is this country’s biggest and longest running all-Italian Rally, and routinely draws 300-400+ machines and numerous flea market vendors. The marquee bike for the 2009 rally is the Vespa. Put September 13, 2009 on your calendar for this great opportunity. And don't miss the Tiddlers Tours for 1969 and earlier, 301cc machines and below. Italian preferred, but any and all four-strokes and two-strokes welcome!
